The short version: Your screenshots are created and edited entirely on your own device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The only personal information involved is the email and payment details you provide if you choose to buy the one-time upgrade, which are handled by our payment providers — not stored by us.

1. Who we are

Snapshot ("the extension") is provided by PrimePathways LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the extension handles and how.

2. Screenshots and page content

When you capture a screenshot, the image is captured and processed locally in your browser. It is held only on your device while you edit it, and it is saved only when you choose to download or copy it. We do not receive, view, upload, or store your screenshots or the content of the pages you capture.

3. Information we handle

Free usage count: a small counter of how many Pro exports you've used today is stored locally on your device so we can offer a daily free allowance. This never leaves your device.
Purchase information (only if you buy the upgrade): to process a one-time payment, our payment provider ExtensionPay and its processor Stripe collect your email address and payment details. This is used to complete the purchase and to remember that your copy is unlocked. We never see or store your full card details.

We use the following services only to process purchases:

5. How we use information

Purchase information is used only to process your payment, provide and maintain your upgrade, and offer support if you contact us. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

6. Selling and sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except the payment providers named above, strictly to process your purchase.

7. Data retention

Purchase and license records are retained by our payment providers for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations. The local usage counter stays on your device until you clear it or remove the extension.

8. Your choices

You can remove all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension. To request access to, or deletion of, purchase information tied to your email, contact us using the details below.

9. Children

Snapshot is a general-purpose tool and is not directed to children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
